- London Gatwick (LGW): onward travel to the British Library by train to London Bridge and thereafter the Northern line (Bank branch) to King's Cross St. Pancras, or via the Gatwick Express train to Victoria and thereafter the Victoria line to King's Cross St. Pancras.
- London City (LCY): onward travel to the British Library by the Docklands Light Railway to Bank and thereafter the Northern line (Bank branch) to King's Cross St. Pancras.

The best approach from central London is via Tavistock Place and Cartwright Gardens.
